Bhubaneswar: A Five-Day 'Editing, Writing Refinement, and Proofreading Workshop' Hosted at the 'Odia Language Establishment' Managed by the Odisha Government, Held at the Local Cultural Complex. A total of 65 participants took part in this workshop.

This workshop provided training in various aspects of editing and proofreading, including skills in editing ancient and medieval texts, addressing fundamental issues in proofreading, nurturing unbiased writing in the Odia language, exploring the core principles of proofreading through computer-mediated methods, and more. Eminent scholars in these fields such as Gaurang Charan Das, Pradeepta Kumar Panda, Santosh Kumar Rath, Baouribandhu Sahu, Professor Jatin Naik, Kailas Chandra Tikaayataraay, Vaishnab Mohanty, Sangram Jena, and Rudranarayan Mahapatra provided specialized training during different sessions of this event.

The inaugural address of this workshop was graced by Dilip Routaray, the Director of the Culture Department, and Sangram Jena, the Vice-President of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi. The presence of Phanindra Bhushan Nanda, the Chief Guest, and Sangram Jena, the President of the Odisha Sahitya Akademi, added to the importance of this event.
